When driving north to Lake Cachuma and Los Olivos, I am always deeply moved by the sheer vastness of the valley. Wine fields and growers when cattle, horses and goats roaming the small hills and usually find a resting spot under the round shaped trees. Deep chartreuse hills in the spring and at summers end turn to a pale yellow ochre. So dramatic. I love it!
