Visiting a friend in Sycamore Canyon, Ca, I made sure I took a picture of her backyard view. It is facing west, towards Malibu Canyon and Mulholland Rd. I am glad I did take that photo. It has been almost 2 years since the Woolsey Fire and that view is now bare, brown and deserted. But on a happier note, my friend had 20 years of absolute joy living in her corner of the world.
